Qualifications
Nixon Adult Day Center clientele includes adults 18 years or older with at least one of these conditions:
- Physical impairment
- Mental impairment
- Social impairment or isolation
- Require personal care assistance
- Require assistance with any medical condition
Our fees are based on income and payment ability, and are assessed on a sliding scale. More information on eligibility can be found at the following link:
Our Facility
Here at NADC, we feel it is important to make the environment as home-like as possible. Our 4,000 square foot facility includes:
- A large, separate kitchen
- Four bathrooms
- Handicapped-accessible shower stalls
- Open activity-area concept to enable clients to be monitored by nurse and staff
- Comfortable sofas, recliner chairs and resting areas
- Weekly physician visits
- Wellness program
- Up-to-date medical treatment room with private bed
- A fenced-in patio and garden
- Door-to-door transportation
- Meals and snacks
- A continental breakfast
- A full, hot lunch
- Hot coffee and juice daily
We Accept Medicaid and Private Pay.
NADC is licensed by the Texas Department
of Human Services
as a
Day Activities Health Service.
